Summary

Comet is an app that encourages coworkers to connect and establish meaningful relationships, in turn helping new employees to adapt faster and easier to their working environment.

Problem

Working from home has created feelings of isolation, burnout and lack of work life balance. Employees are struggling to establish social connections in a virtual or hybrid workplace.

Connect:
We wanted employees to be able to connect and talk freely with their peers across a range of topics without any reservations from job hierarchy through the use of anonymity


Beyond having that initial connection, if users get along well, we have a way to stay in touch with each other, revealing identities once both parties are sure they want to keep this new connection

Game:
From user feedback and testing, we understood that games were another great way to break the ice between employees.

Network:
Lastly, we created a section for employees to be able to connect on a more professional level to be able to reach out and help each other with different aspects of work to be able to work across teams.
